Its more or less a Civil War and Old West mixed in one mod since they happened simoltaneously. It allows you to join a variety of nations and you can even just go off and fight bandits in the old west or what have you.
There already is a fully fleshed out Single-Player mod set in the Civil War. This is the 4th installment of the ACW mod and has many improvements on the first one, there are many new uniforms, including Officers and NCO's, a map of the USA c 1860 is now in game, the factions and game characters are keeping with the period. There's North and South: First Manassas, but it's multiplayer only.I do happen to be working on a fully fleshed-out (SP) ACW mod right now, actually, though it may take a while - no longer than a 1 or 2 months for the first version.Only problem is I either need to succesfully get permission to use NaS' uniform and weapon models and textures - which I doubt - to release it then.
